Dreamland Sanctuary is a private, off-grid retreat perched atop a lush hill with sweeping views of Lake Atitlán and its volcanoes. Located in the outskirts of Santiago Atitlán, just across the bay from the main town and nearest to San Juan Chacayá, the sanctuary offers a rare balance of seclusion, beauty, and comfort.
Surrounded by jungle and lake, Dreamland is designed for deep rest, reflection, and reconnection with nature. Here, serenity meets thoughtful design — inviting you to slow down, breathe deeply, and experience a more conscious way of living.
Dreamland Sanctuary is composed of two fully independent home suites, each with its own private entrance:

Each space is carefully designed to blend eco-sustainable living with comfort, offering breathtaking views, open-air elements, and a strong connection to the natural environment.

Permaculture & Holistic Living
Nestled along the tranquil lakeside, Dreamland Sanctuary is home to a heartfelt Permaculture Initiative and Holistic School a philanthropic project dedicated to sharing regenerative living practices with the local indigenous community.
Through educational programs focused on permaculture, organic farming, and eco-living, we aim to empower local farmers and inspire a collective return to harmony with Mother Earth.
Our space is nurtured by a loving, nomadic volunteer community who dedicate their time and energy to co-creating this vision of sustainability and connection.
During your stay, you can:
Explore natural building, composting, permaculture, and organic gardening through a guided tour of the project.
Join us for natural building days, gardening activities, or workshops (subject to availability).
Offer your hands and heart volunteer with our vibrant community and be part of something meaningful.
Please note: Advanced reservations are required for tours and activities.
Mystical Yoga Farm
Just a 7-minute walk from Dreamland, MYF is a unique lakeside eco-retreat immersed in nature and brimming with artistic expression. As a 100% off-grid, sustainable, and zero-waste community, MYF embodies conscious living at its core.
The center is rooted in the practices of Yoga, Ceremony, and Permaculture, with a deep love for devotional singing, meditation, ecstatic dance, and authentic expression.
Guests are invited to experience:
Daily morning yoga, sacred ceremonies, cacao rituals, devotional singing, and transformational workshops.
Vegan buffet meals, served fresh three times a day with love and intention.
Communal gatherings like fire circles and other spontaneous offerings throughout the week.
Advanced reservations are required for activities and meals.

The nearest town is Santiago Atitlán – a vibrant lakeside town where you can buy fresh food at the local market and experience a more authentic cultural vibe than in other villages around the lake.
The nearest small village is Chacaya - a peaceful lakeside community nestled at the base of San Pedro Volcano. Its rural atmosphere and natural beauty make it a special place to disconnect.
Dreamland Sanctuary is located just above this small village, surrounded by lush forest, walking trails, and panoramic views of the volcano and lake.
Our sister Center, the Mystical Yoga Farm, offers daily yoga sessions, vegan buffet meal options, and sacred healing fire circles & ceremonies. It is located just 5 minutes walking from our Sanctuary. If you decide to use their facilities, let us know!
